Thongchai Rakpathum is another Thailand’s leading artist chosen to be a Thai National Artist in Visual Arts (painting) in 2010. Not only that he was among the last students of Professor Silpa Bhirasri, the father of modern art in Thailand, but also he was a senior government official who devoted himself to progressively move and mecidiyeköy escort reform Bunditpatanasilpa Institute (former name, College of Fine Arts) for 30 years. He is a true government-official artist who worked hard to fulfill his role as a Thailand’s government official. Meanwhile, he has never forgotten his true profession and spared any time possible to do his beloved painting which, in the other way, fulfills his role as an artist and as a human being.
